Make your voice heard!

Peace 1st, a grassroots unified peace effort in the Triangle of North Carolina, focuses on a non-violent response to the events driven by global instability. Peace 1st works actively in four areas:

• Raising awareness of other cultures and perspectives
• Non-violent action for peace and social witness
• Alternative responses to violence
• Networking for peace and justice

By being an active voice of conscience in these areas, we hope to engage others who might join our efforts. At a time when some voices call for retaliation against a specified nation or group of people, we assume a role of proclaiming a stronger voice that leads us toward understanding, justice, equality, peace and security for all people.
